Psychological Functional Capacity
Assessment
A
capacity
assessment
evaluates
an
individual’s
ability
to
make
decisions
and
manage
daily
tasks.
This
type
of
an
assessment
provides
detailed
insight
into
cognitive
and
emotional
functioning,
helping
determine
the
best
course
of
action
for
care
and
support.
This
assessment
is
also
being
used
for
identifying
the
functional
limitations
and
capabilities
of
individuals
who
may
be
recovering
from
injury,
managing
chronic
conditions,
or
experiencing
other health-related challenges.
Capacity
assessments
are
also
essential
for
applications
involving
Assured
Income
for
the
Severely
Handicapped
(AISH),
Persons
with
Developmental
Disabilities
(PDD)and
Trusteeship/Guardianship.
Conducted
by
our
experienced
team
of
psychologists,
these
assessments
use
standardized,
evidence-based
tests
to
objectively
measure
emotional, mental, and behavioral capabilities.
The
duration
of
an
assessment
depends
on
its
complexity
and
methods
used.
It
is
consisted
of
interview
and
psychological
testing,
that
are
used
as
tools
for
collecting
information
for
detailed
psychological
report.
