Ashley Sabados is a Registered Psychologist in Alberta, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology. Ashley’s forensic psychology experience includes court ordered assessments and therapy. With a meticulous and impartial approach, Ashley conducts in-depth evaluations to assess the well-being of children and the suitability of custodial arrangements. Driven by a commitment to prioritize the welfare of the children involved, Ashley maintains a child-centered focus throughout the assessment process. Ensuring that the child's voice is heard and their needs are at the forefront, Ashley advocates for custodial solutions that promote the child's safety, stability, and emotional well- being. Utilizing a blend of psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions, Ashley evaluates the risk factors associated with criminal behavior. Ashley Sabados is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at The University of Calgary in Calgary and a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington DC in 2014. Ashley is currently working at the Youth Assessment Centre in High Prairie and is available to see clients in Grande Prairie, AB. Ashley has experience providing therapy to men, women and adolescents in both a private and government setting. Ashley’s exposure to individuals within the justice system or social services sector allows her compassion and empathy to be present when meeting with all her clients. Ashley’s therapeutic a pproach is integrative with evidencebased practices that fall under Cognitive Behavioral , Person-Centered, and Solution Focused Therapy as her experience has indicated that therapy should be tailored to the specific needs of the individual. Furthermore, Ashley brings joy, laughter and understanding to each therapy session to help ease the uncomfortableness of seeing a therapist.
