Christopher Rose, PhD
Dr. Christopher Rose is a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He is available to see clients for therapy, assessment. and consultation. Dr. Rose works with a wide range of clients experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, grief, anger management issues, PTSD, chemical and process dependencies, separation & divorce, workplace problems, work/life balance, career changes and unemployment, marriage/couples and family therapy as well as parenting strategies. Dr. Rose is an experienced addiction counsellor and has worked in residential treatment and other clinical settings in both B.C. and Washington, D.C. He holds an undergraduate B.A. in philosophy and religion from Guelph University, a combined honors B.Sc. in Psychology and Biology from M.U.N. In addition, Dr. Rose holds an MA in Counselling Psychology and a PhD in Counselling Psychology from UVIC. Also, he completed an APA approved pre-doctoral internship from University of North Carolina. Dr. Rose offers an eclectic approach that includes; narrative therapy, family therapy, cognitive behavioural and solution focused practices. I strive to build safe, supportive therapeutic relationships and work collaboratively with clients to select therapeutic approaches based on the specific needs and goals of each person.

