Angie Allan, MEd

Angie Allan   is   a   Registered   Provisional   Psychologist   in   the   province   of Alberta.   She   completed   two   undergraduate degrees   at   the   University   of   Western   Ontario,   a   Bachelor   of   Arts   in   Administrative   Studies   (1997)   and   a   Bachelor of    Arts,    Honors    in    Psychology    (2014).    In    2017,    Angie    completed    a    Masters    of    Education    in    Counselling Psychology   at   the   University   of   Alberta.      She   has   also   completed   a   Professional   Coaching   Certificate   through   the University of Toronto/Adler (2010). Angie   has   focused   her   training   on   providing   counselling   and   assessments   to   adults   and   teens   through   placements   at community-facing   counselling   clinic   at   the   University   of Alberta,   the YWCA   Edmonton   Counselling   Centre   and   as a    Mental    Health   Worker    with    CMHA    London-Middlesex.    Her    approach    to    both    therapy    and    assessments    is strengths-based,   values-focused,   person-centred   and   non-judgemental.   She   is   warm   and   nurturing,   and   partners with her clients to clarify goals, and design creative and meaningful change.  Before   returning   to   school   for   psychology,   Angie   enjoyed   a   successful   15+   year   career   in   the   Management Consulting     industry     where     she     specialized     in     staffing     and     resource     management,     business     operations, administrative   management.   She   has   worked   with   clients   in   the   public   sector,   finance,   utilities,   high   tech,   and healthcare. Angie   has   also   worked   as   a   career   and   life   coach,   where   she   helped   clients   strive   for   and   achieve   their personal and professional goals.
