Andrea Loeppky, MSc, RPsych

Andrea is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta, passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families. She holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology and Applied Research from Capella University and a Bachelor of Arts from Thompson Rivers University. Andrea’s diverse professional background includes her role as a psychologist within the Grande Prairie Public School District, where she currently provides evidence-based services to children, youth, and families, including program and behavioral support planning. Her experience also extends to working as a Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) Coordinator and a Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP) Mentor, supporting individuals navigating addiction, trauma, and developmental challenges. She is certified in Triple P Parenting (Level 4) and as a Trauma- Informed Care practitioner, integrating these skills into her work with families to foster resilience and positive relationships. Andrea’s practice is rooted in a holistic approach, addressing the physical, personal, cultural, social, and emotional well-being of her clients. She specializes in providing support for a wide range of concerns, including trauma and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She also assists with behavioral disorders, such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), attachment issues, peer relationship challenges, and general parenting concerns. Her therapeutic approach incorporates CBT, client-centered therapy, and behavioral therapy, always tailoring interventions to the unique needs of her clients. Andrea believes clients know themselves best and works collaboratively with them to select therapeutic methods that facilitate growth and healing. Andrea’s assessments are designed to identify emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, providing actionable insights for intervention and support. Andrea is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for individuals of all cultures, races, sexual orientations, gender identities, and socioeconomic statuses. She provides services in person in Grande Prairie and virtually to clients in surrounding areas.
